"White-Protected" Bowls
These bowls come in the same sizes as those above, but the finishes are considerably more abstract and free-form. An initial white glaze is "thown" over the bowl form resulting in lines and partially thickened areas. These areas are then "protected" by wax from the colored overglaze and the result is...stunning!
(Because of the extra steps required in the creation of these bowls, the prices are $10 higher than those noted above without the white-protected process.)
